mIRCstats Automation Control Script (mAC) v1.21
[05/05/02] As most everyone's most likely noticed, this script isn't being maintained in any way, shape or form. Since I've stopped IRCing and work completely silly hours, I don't have the time or inclination to continue with this project. So, sorry to everyone who would like to have seen improvements and updates made. If anyone is interested in messing around with the script, email me and I'll gladly hand control of this website to you.
Cheers, and goodbye

[03/02/00] mAC v1.21 is here! Check out the changes.
Here's some fixes for things that I kind of took for granted. Mainly however, for eggdrop log users, the setup has
been automated a bit more, you will no longer have to hunt around for where the log file got downloaded to, the script
will automatically set the correct log location. This might also fix some issues for ircN users. ...Del
[02/18/00] mAC v1.20 released!
Ok, the long awaited incremental logging has finally wound its way into this script! Yay! :)
What this basically means is that if selected, mAC will download whatever log file is on the bot's shell, delete it, and subsequently
grab only new chunks of log on the shell, and append them to the existing logfile on your local machine. Handy for big logfiles
or small quotas. You will need an upgraded channellog.tcl set to mAC mode to use this feature!
Also, a funky new addition, since the topic doesn't allow you to have Control Codes (for colors/bold/etc.) directly by CTRL-K/B/R/U, and
doin' the $chr(xx) thing is annoying, I've put in a feature where ^K, ^U, ^R and ^B inside the topic line will be
translated into their control code equivalents and should be used as such. For example, "^UStats^U Updated ^B^K4NOW!"
as the topic will show up as "Stats Updated NOW!" in the topic.
Also, the MSFTPUP.BAT and MSFTPDN.BAT no longer delete themselves. NEW USERS! This means that you can now
simply right click on the batch files (one after the other), go to the "Program" tab, and click on "Close on Exit" to make
sure the FTP windows don't hang around after the transfers are finished.
[02/04/00] mAC v1.14 is here!
It would appear that mIRC 5.7 is a bit more picky about it's curly braces than it's predecessors, causing mAC to stop
working for all those who upgraded to 5.7. So, v1.14 fixes that. Have fun :) BTW - One of the checkbox labels has
been changed to "Incremental Log"... this isn't implemented yet (will be soon) seeing as I had to get this fix out ASAP.
[12/30/99] Well, I had all kinds of grand plans on where to take this script... but unfortunately my IRC activity has
all but stopped in the past few months due to insane work hours and such. So for now, this is the script you get. It is, as
far as I know, basically complete. In the works were multiple stats settings for the same channel, individual timing
settings for each channel, etc., but again, time didn't allow for it and seeing as I no longer create stats the inclination
had disappeared as well. If some of you do make a modification to the script that you think might be useful to others, please
send it my way and I'll include it in the script here.
